Hi

When selecting the Star Alignment reference image type - View or File, the file option in not shown although the drop down window expands to show View or "white space"
If a view is selected and the view is also one of the added files the Alignment routine fails eventually. So you cannot align all your image files unlike the windows version.

Thanks

Hmm, this is weird. I can't reproduce this problem. Could you please post a screenshot where this happens, so I can try to identify the cause?

Yes, this is a known problem with the latest version of StarAlignment. I'll fix it in the next version.

Does this mean that you're seeing this problem on a specific platform (Linux or Mac OS X) and not on Windows?

You can align all of your images. Just take the precaution not to include your reference image (view or file) in your Target Images list. As I've said this won't happen anymore in the next version.

Juan

Here is the screen shot from my Ubuntu system
The file option is not displayed

On Linux:- (with bug)
If I have 5 files to Align, CR2 in my case, One image is the reference and the alignment tool generates 4 _r.fit files. When opening up the ImageIntegration tool it only allows you to select .fit files. Because I cannot include the reference file as a target file I can only integrate 4 files
On Windows (no bug)
I can include all 5 files during alignment,  selecting one as a reference. I can Integrate 5 files as I now have 5 r_r.fit files.
Or am I doing something incorrectly?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

This is strange. I can't reproduce it on both KDE and GNOME here.

Anyway, let's see if the new version of StarAlignment fixes all of these problems (so I hope). As I've said I'll try to publish a new version of the ImageRegistration module (with very important improvements) in a couple days.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
