Dear all,

What should I do? DSLR-RAW is not in the Format Explorer anymore, and PI is not reading my RAW files anymore. Ae I wrote in previous posts, I am not a computer person and would be grateful if someone could help me. Please, may anyone guide me on what should do? It may have a basic and simple solution for many, but not for me...

Thanks in advance, Fernando

Hi Fernando,

The old DSLR_RAW module (based on dcraw) was replaced by a new RAW module (based on LibRaw) in version 1.8.6 of PixInsight, released December of 2018.

If you have installed the latest version of PixInsight (1.8.8-4) correctly, the RAW module should be included and it should open your digital camera raw frames without problems (see here the complete list of cameras currently supported).

Juan, thanks for your attention. I just found a video in the Announcements area that helped me to update.
