This is a machine-specific issue that cannot be reproduced under normal working conditions on any platform. Check if there are hardware or filesystem problems on your machine, such as insufficient storage space conditions (which are not always reported to applications), insufficient access permissions, or hardware errors.

As noted before, we cannot reproduce this problem. Nothing similar has been reported before either. This is a machine-specific problem that cannot be reproduced under normal working conditions.

Hi,

I've got the same problem on my old MacBook (13 Zoll, End 2009, last "unibody" plastic MacBook, only 4GB, HighSierra, 10.12).

So I've installed PixInsight Core 1.8.6 and it works.

Maybe you should try this older version?

Best regards, Mirko
