My workspace contains minimized instances of processes that have their parameters set as normally used. I.e., to create these, I opened a process from the menu, made my settings, than dragged the new Instance triangle, named it as desired, and closed the menu process.
In use, I double-click an icon, execute the process, then click the [X] button to close the process. The icon remains on my workspace.
But Blink is different. There is no New Instance triangle, so the only way I can have a Blink icon is to shade it.
Oops! After using Blink, I forget it needs to be shaded, so I click [X], which closes it, and Blink is gone from my workspace.
Questions:
- Why doesn't Blink have a New Instance triangle?
- Is there a way to create a new Blink instance that will remain on my workspace after I [X] out of the process?
- What am I missing?
Thanks for all information and insights.
