How to change workspace background image?
« on: 2019 December 19 09:22:12 »
I've read the thread about changing the workspace background color, but I can't find anything about changing the image. is there a way to do this? I'd like to display one of my favorite astro images.

Thanks.

Do the following to define custom workspace wallpapers:

- From the main menu: Edit > Global Preferences

- On the Preferences tool, select the Core Wallpapers section.

- Remove the desired standard wallpaper images and add the ones you want to use. Keep in mind that the order of selected images defines the workspace on which each image will be shown.

- Click Apply Global, or press F6 to execute.

Normally, workspace wallpapers are only loaded upon application startup, so you'll have to exit PixInsight and run the application again for the changes to take effect. However, there is a trick to avoid this: you can disable the Use workspace wallpapers option, apply (F6), then enable the same option and apply again. This will force a reload of all wallpapers without exiting the application.
