Please update your PixInsight installation to version 1.8.8-2; you are still using 1.8.8-1.

Anyway, can you provide a pattern to reproduce this problem, or is it a sporadic problem?

It comes up randomly but it happens in every session. There's no pattern if I understood the question you're asking for. I upgraded to 1.8.8-3 but it keeps on. Thank you for your help. I'm running pixinsight on a Mac Pro 5.1 - 96GB ram - dual six core 3.33Ghz - Os Mojave.

We cannot reproduce these errors on any platform, including macOS 10.14 and 10.15.

The InitializePixInsightModule symbols in these backtraces are fake; they are being reported by mistake on macOS and have nothing to do with the actual origin of the problem.

These critical signals are being generated in Qt library modules; QtWebEngine and QtQuick specifically. They are completely out of our control, and are probably associated with a machine-specific condition not being handled correctly by Qt.

Without a reproducible pattern we cannot analyze and potentially fix these issues.
