CosmeticCorrection New Instance
« on: 2019 October 11 11:00:04 »
I am working with the CosmeticCorrection process.  I’ve added a list of files; checked the CFA box; checked ‘use master dark’ and provided a path to the master dark file; Enabled Hot Pixels checkbox; and checked ‘Use Auto Detect’.  When I click the New Instance icon in the lower left hand corner, nothing happens.  Apparently I need to add some additional information; but I don’t know what the process is looking for.  Any help is appreciated.

you need to click the "apply global" button - next to the new instance triangle.

the new instance triangle isn't really a button. you drag it onto an image to apply a process to that image, or drag it to the desktop to make a process icon containing all the current settings for the process.

Just a curious point of interest...
I wonder if it is desirable to combine methods as the OP originally stated?
I have always used one method at a time and I am not certain I understand how using more than one method would help.

yeah i'm not sure if using a master dark and auto detect together makes sense. don't know which one would take precedence.
