Help with narrowband pixels of the target are rejected
« on: 2019 September 06 23:21:03 »
Hi there,
Maybe anybody has an idea: I already got some nice narrowband results but in the last weeks I am having troubles.
when I am doing integration (whether I allow pixel rejection or not) my target (HII region and stars are rejected.
This leaves me with an extremely noisy result. Anybody ever encountered such a thing?
Please let me know if anybody has ever encountered something like this or is able to tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried STF after the integration?

Sure. But my problem is that the stretched picture is very noisy since the weight window, especially in drizzle integration, tells me that all the main stars and my nebula are not used.

Can you put up a data set so we can have a look at it

Hello,
There is a slight chance that StarAlignment mistakenly picked hot pixels as stars. In that case the real stars will either average out or rejected by ImageIntegration. Use Blink to inspect your registered frames to see if you have badly aligned frames in your stack.

I am adding some of the data here (I don't have the space for the whole set):

It is not hot pixels and I got it to work in normal integration somehow but unfortunately, I am still not able to stack them in drizzle integration (see attachment).
