Hello All,
Is there a tutorial or example on processing the solar corona during a solar eclipse using PixInsight?
I want to understand how to align, stack and create HDR solar corona image during the Aug 21st eclipse.
Thanks and Regards,
Keerthi

Hi K!
Did you ever get an answer to this one?
I have taken bracketed subs at the 2019 Chile Total Solar Eclipse, but have no idea how to process them for at HDR result...
Best regards,
Tomas

Resistance is futile.

Hi,
A very simple workflow could be:
Align with
FFTRegistration
script if necessary.
Integrate with
HDRComposition
Stretch (
HistogramTransformation
, for example)
Apply
HDRMultiscaleTransform
Reduce noise if necessary.
Try
LarsonSekanina
process. It's like magic (use x,y sun center for X-center and Y-center values)
Etc
Greetings.
Enzo.
