Hi,

This is my first post and maybe this has been asked earlier. Apologies if so, but I've not been able to find a post describing this problem although there are some that are related. So...

I've used batch-preprocessing quite a bit but recently I'm encountering a problem with "Zero or insignificant signal detected (empty image?)" during integration and it always happens with the image that I choose as registration reference. If I avoid using an image as registration reference the process does complete without an error. Does this make sense?

Kind regards,

R:)

Hi! I have the same problem since the last Pixinsight update. I use SGP to capture my images, but after the debayer process, it all suddenly stops, and says:

"zero or insignificant signal detected (empty image?)"

If you have a look at my raw files (tiff) before calibration, they look fine, with very good details.
I think something wrong is happening in the calibration step, because the images look darker (less detailed) after it. I normally use a master dark, master bias, and master flat for this (with no issues on other attempts before PI upgrade).

Also, if you look at the bayered images, they will look all saturated, with a green predominant color. Not like a light pollution issue; it´s more like pixel saturation, or something wrong in the debayering process. Images become unusable. I use a ZWO 071 (bayer pattern rggb).

Right now, I am calibrating, debayering, aligning and integrating all separately. Sometimes I avoid calibrating, because the images look very bad after it. Maybe my master dark, master bias, and master flats are wrong?
