moire pattern from debayering

Hello people,

The attached file shows what I'm asking about. I get a pattern resembling a moire pattern when I apply the debayer process to a master light file generated by the preprocessing script. This is from my first use of an ASI294 Pro camera. So this may be user error associated with new equipment. I can't be more specific, which makes it that much harder to problem-solve the sample image, I apologize. Can any of you wizards suggert what might be set up incorrectly?

This pattern is only in the R and B channel, not in the G channel. It seems to be related to clipping in these channels. Maybe this is caused by wrong image calibration. How did you prepare the master calibration files, and with which settings did you perform the image calibration?

Thank you for your reply.

Best I can say in reply to your questions, is that I used the Batch Preprocessing script. Strictly with the defaults. So I can try the preprocessing without using he script and see what happens. I can look for evidence of clipping. OK?
