Make select all work on macOS

Hi,

In any process or script that requires multiple input files, the CMD-A and CTRL-A key combinations do not work on macOS when trying to select all files in a directory. Instead I have to select the first file, scroll down to the last file and click on the last file while holding the shift key.

Would it be possible please to make either CMD-A or CTRL-A (or both?) work on macOS? Many thanks in advance for considering this.

Hi Wouter,

No, as far as I know there is no way to implement this. macOS native file dialogs (which are not the same as Finder windows) don't support these keyboard accelerators. If you want to use Cmd+A to select all files on macOS, enable multiplatform file dialogs (Preferences > File I/O Settings > Use native file dialogs (disable)), or use the File Explorer window.

Again thanks for your quick reply. I wasn't aware of the Use Native File Dialogs setting. I have disabled it and now CMD-A works. Thank you very much!!!
