Small text in pixinsight

Help nedded I have brought myself a new laptop installed pixinsight but everything is so small I’m struggling to read it how can I make everything bigger like on my previous laptop

Hello lee and welcome to the PI forum!

From the menu bar:

Edit -> Global Preferences -> Core UI Resources (second item from the left-side list)

Then:

Uncheck the Automatic UI scaling tickbox.
Enter 2.00 at the UI scaling factor box.
Hit F6 or the "circle" button at the bottom left corner to Apply Globally.
Exit PI and restart PI again.

Things should be bigger now  8)

These high-DPI laptops are nice but unfortunately I feel that no OS is ready yet for the "High-DPI" era. I have one of those laptops, and even some basic OS apps doesn't scale well  :sad:

Thanks for your reply yes it worked but it has made it to big so now I can’t hit the global circle and nothing happens when I hit f6 need the size to be in between 1 and 2 any idear how I get out of this thanks lee
