No metadata when reading TIFF files?

Hi,
when I open TIFF files that were created in Photoshop, PixInsight doesn't seem to pick up any metadata.
These are comet images, so I need the date and time for CometAlignment to work with.
Needless to say, when I open them in Photoshop the data all seems to be there.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Hi,

Photoshop metadata is not supported by our TIFF format module. For CometAlignment, you'll have to save your files in a format able to store standard astronomical metadata, such as FITS header keywords.
