Relocation Error

After installing last version (1.8.6) as per your instruction (Ubuntu 14.04), PixInsight refuses to start, and replies:

/opt/PixInsight/bin/PixInsight: relocation error: /opt/PixInsight/bin/lib/libQt5DBus.so.5: symbol dbus_message_set_allow_interactive_authorization, version LIBDBUS_1_3 not defined in file libdbus-1.so.3 with link time reference

Hi Federico,

I'm afraid version 1.8.6 of PixInsight won't run on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS because of outdated system components. See for example:

Note that 14.04 is now very old; its end of active support will arrive in early 2019. I encourage you upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, where PixInsight 1.8.6 runs nicely.
