Adding a watermark to images?
« on: 2018 November 06 08:55:06 »
A simple question; is there a way in PI to add a watermark (my name) to an image?

Thanks.

sorry, i was away from my computer and mistyped - Annotate is a dynamic process that lets you add a text overlay to an image.

AnnotateImage is a script which will overlay all kinds of stuff if the image has an astrometric solution - RA/DEC grid, star names, DSO names, etc.

Any way to remove the annotation once you've saved the image and closed PI?

i don't think so... it's 'burned in' so to speak; the pixels underneath whatever was annotated have been overwritten with the text...

That's what I was afraid of - the history explorer was empty. Well...lesson learned. Thanks Rob.
