Dear all,
I think I have found a small bug in the DBE process. Apologies if this has already been reported.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
0) Open an image, open the DBE dialog box, generate a good number of samples (say, at least 200 or 300) throughout the image. Turn on "track sample in the target view".
1) Go to the target view. Select the current sample and nudge it around if needed.
2) Go back to the DBE dialog box, and click directly the right arrow button to move on to the next sample.
3) Repeat steps #1 and #2 for a few times. The actual selected sample will occasionally and randomly jump to a much higher index without any valid reason (say, from i to i+50 or even i+100), while IMHO it should always advance to the next one.
Other misc info:
* This bug has actually been there for a while, although it looked like it was (almost) gone in the releases up to mid-2015, but it has made a full comeback in the two latest PI releases.
* Another fellow PI user was able to reproduce it
* Apparently the "failure rate" will decrease somewhat if one first clicks on the DBE dialog box caption and then presses the right arrow button.
* Latest PI version, 64-bit Windows 7
Last (partly OT) question: is there a way to advance to the next sample with a hotkey directly in the image view, i.e. without having to go back to the DBE dialog box?
Thanks in advance,
Emmanuele
