Bias and dark batch processing
« on: 2018 August 17 18:56:47 »
Hi all
I have a ZWO 178 mm cooled. Amp glow is quite bad.
40 darks
40 bias
No flats
2 hours Ha
2hours O111

I ran batch processing calibration and registration on both Ha and O111
The amp glow for the Ha is completely gone but the O111 didn’t reduce amp glow at all.
Same settings for both.
Anyone have any ideas for me?

There are hints on the ZWO site which include disabling dark optimisation:

Is your glow the sharply defined "star burst" type of glow?
