Hi.
Hope I'm not being simpleminded, but-
The auto-stretch, that is CTRL-A, does a great job of stretching a linear image. It does not change the linearity of your source image, which is why its used. It lets you stretch the image without really stretching the image
That way one can see the effect of an operation without changing the source image.
Anyway, auto-stretch does a very good job of stretching, better and faster than some of my efforts
. I'd love it if there was a process with a general-purpose stretch duplicating auto-stretch, but with permanent results.
Is this possible or likely?
Thanks.
James
