Batch Preprocessing Bug?
« on: 2018 March 24 00:12:56 »
If I am plowing through data over multiple dates, I'd like to 'Clear' flats and lights and then rerun with my master flat and bias that I just used on the previous day.  Something about the BPP state gets messed up after the first run, when I 'load flats' for the next date, the grouping seems messed up (this is repeatable).  The weird grouping goes away if I close the script and start it again.

EDIT: Crap, was on the lights tab when I did the screen cap...but be assured that the flats look fine in that tab.

When you first start the script the master bias and dark buttons are not selected. Once you run the script they are automatically selected. Deselect the master bias, flat or dark, whatever the case may be and reload the files. When these options are selected PI assumes you are loading Master frames hence the result you are experiencing.

Ah I miswrote, I said:
"and then rerun with my master flat and bias that I just used on the previous day"

what I meant what that I am using a maser DARK and bias (the same masters I used on the previous day's data).
I turn on the master bias and dark buttons when I start the script.  The funny grouping is happening in flats.

You only need to load the master flat from the previous day and make sure the master flat button is selected. If you load the other flat files then you will get the result that you show. The flat files do not need to be recalibrated that is why you have the master flat file.

Ah I see "master flat" gets checked automatically after the script is run (when this case I don't want it to be).
Obviously not a bug.
