DBE Once Again
« on: 2017 December 09 07:51:43 »
I have asked this before and have never really been able to give an example of the trouble.  here it is.  Where on this image should I place my DBE points?  This image has just been channel combined--Ha, OIII and SII in SHO palette.  Dynamic drop was applied.  Time for DBE--ABE creates all sorts of dark patches where they should not be.  I can't process this image until I can so,ve the DBE issue.

i dont see any gradients... so just skip the DBE step. nothing in image processing is compulsory aside from stretching.

Rodd, I agree with Rob- quite even. As you know, DBE realy needs some neutral sky to work its best. If you do give ABE another shot, lower the Function Degree default of 4 to 2- I find that eliminates the 'dark patches.'
Best always, Warren
