Hi Salvatore,

Thank you for reporting this. This error message has been generated by self-diagnostics code in the PixInsight core application. These problems can only happen under very atypical working conditions. Scarce memory or disk resources are possible causes, especially on Windows. Can you describe the sequence of operations you performed in PixInsight before this happened, or much better, upload an image where this can be reproduced?

Hi Juan,

Sorry, but I have no recollection of the circumstances.  I can say however, that the PC I was using to process is a little light on RAM (12GB), so I suspect you are correct to suspect that a shortage of memory caused the error.  No big deal for now . . . I plan to upgrade my RAM.
