Arcsinh Stretch - I seem to have the wrong version!
« on: 2017 October 20 15:24:24 »
Just watched part of Warren's October 2017 Online Workshop where Ron Brecher is showing the new Arcsinh Stretch and I realised that it is not the same version as I have, yet I have got all the updates. Plus Arcsinh Stretch is not listed in the Process list under IntensityTransformations, but it is under <Etc> as Arcsinh.

How do I get the right version installed?

I am using V 01.08.05.1353 Ripley (x64) in Windows 10

Screenshot of my version attached.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike

That's not the one I have. I've attached a screen shot of the info for arcsinh module I have.

Hi Mike (Oates),

It sounds like you have one of my pre-release versions.  What version do you see when you do Process->Modules->ManageModules?

If you examine the folder containing those modules, which files do you see named anything like Arcsinh or ArcsinhStretch?

The pre-release versions were called Arcsinh, not ArcsinhStretch.

If you do Resources->Updates->Check For Updates, are you sure that ArcsinhStretch does not appear?

Thanks Mark, yes looking at the Manage Modules it is your older version 00.00.01.0103 dated 2017/3/18

I then went to Install Modules and with the search directory set at C:/Program Files/PixInsight/bin I clicked on Search and it then found v 01.00.00.0117 2017/10/12 clicked on Install and it installed.

So not sure why I had to do this, but I do now have the right version.

Thanks

Mike
