The pretty version of NGC7424
« on: 2017 October 05 04:18:27 »
NGC7424 is a low surface brightness barred spiral in Grus and quite a difficult target.  This is a combination of nearly 30 hours of data, half from 2013 captured with a Ceravolo 300 astrograph/Apogee U16M and the rest with an Astro-Physics RH305/STXL-16200.  Processed using PI 1.8.5 and the latest features, PCC and LocalNormalization  :D

Thanks, Andrea.  The most difficult part is always trying to control the temptation to push everything too far  :D
