Image Registration Fails

Hello,

I am trying to process a few sets of data and I am not sure how to troubleshoot image registration issues. PI doesn't find the minimum of six matched stars although there are plenty to be found.

Thoughts are appreciated.

I have similar problem. Images contains a lot of stars, but registration fails permanently. If anybody know the solution, please help us. Here is original post with sample images.

The problem with these frames is high noise and hot pixel artifacts. Increase the noise reduction parameter (Star Detection section) to 3 and the images register without problems with default parameters.
