Channel Extraction - Loss of fits Header
« on: 2017 January 22 05:20:17 »
When I do a Channel extraction the Fits header data (Camera settings, Date,, time etc) disappear.
Am I missing something?  Is there a fix or work around?  I want to do photometry on the extracted channels but without the fits data this is a problem.

Hi Steve!
There is the Process  "FitsHeader"

You place the the RGB image and the extracted gray channel Images for example side by side.
Start the process FitsHeader for the RGB Image. It Shows the fits data.
Than drag and drop the triangle of the process to the other extracted Images.
And you have the Fits Infos of the RGB transefered to the gray extracted files...

Easy like drinking water....

Hi Steve,

This is actually a bug. It will be fixed in version 1.8.5. Sorry for the inconvenience.
