Combining Narrow Band with Luminance

Hi,

I'm trying to combine a fits image which is Ha, SII and OIII (which is already registered and combined) to a luminance channel. I can't find a process that lets me combine these two images (I can only find processes that let me combine all individual frames, but not a feature that lets me combine an RGB image (which is already combined) with a L channel). What's the best way to do this please?

Ray,
  Undoubtedly, several alternatives exist. What I would probably start with is assigning the NB to a palette (of your own liking or the Hubble palette, or whichever) and combining the NB accordingly. The resulting color image is processed, stretched and processed some more (as with any RGB image). Then the L image is processed, also including stretching, and combined with the RGB using the LRGB tool.
  Just a starting point. But, all is fair in the realm of image processing!

Not sure about narrowband but here are the steps that I follow to apply a Luminance to my RGB images:

With both L and RGB images open: open LRGBCombination, select the Luminance view, leave the RGB views unchecked, drag the LRGBCombination new instance icon (triangle) on to the RGB image

StarAlignment.  Ideally, you'll register all the subs to a common reference before you start stacking the masters.  You can do it after stacking but that means you're doing interpolation twice which will have some (probably small) impact on quality.
