DynamicCrop clampingThreshold value not correct in javascript dialog window

On the DynamicCrop dialog window the clamping threshold defaults to 0.30. However, when the javascript code button is clicked, the code dialog box shows P.clampingThreshold = 0.00;

Hmmm, I wonder if this is why I can't seem to use DynamicCrop.  Every time I try to use it, I apply what I think trims the black edges, but, when I apply it, the Black Edge is still there.  For a PI newbie like me, this is difficult to understand if I'm doing something wrong, and well a crop shouldn't be too difficult.

BTW, I have version 01.08.04.1195 Ripley (X64)
