Integration problem
« on: 2017 January 07 12:21:40 »
Hi, i am having problems with integration in BPP.
Console is returning "empty image" message
Camera is cmos QHY163C, and i use 2 to 5 minutes exposures, captured with Nebulosity.
No such issues with my QHY10.
Some setting i should change obviously, because sometimes it works with nice results.
Can somebody help me with this ?
Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Could you please upload 3 raw frames?

Thanks,
Vicent.

Hi Vincent, thanks for getting back so fast.

I must admit there is not much signal in the images, just a star field and some very faint reflection nebulae,
but nevertheless there must be a way to integrate the subs.

Here are 3 raw subs of 2 min. exposure with the 163C camera :

Sorry to jump the gun, but I got the same problem again, this time with an image with lots of signal, M42.

Console reports self contradictory statements about noise computation....

BPP with all default settings.

Hi JG,
I can not use the batchprocessing script, because I have no calibration files for your images, but in manual mode it works for me. Have you tried to reinstall PI?

Greetings
Tobias

Hi Tobias, thanks for working on my problem.
I think its a master calibration frames issue because i was able to get BPP running
by making new masters with gain = 0 instead of gain = 2 as previously.
I think I mixed both in BPP.
The camera is so sensitive, it does not need any amplification, and i avoid ampglow.
Thanks again,
