My biggest struggle with the user interface of PixInsight is that the two-fingered drag motion that is used for scrolling in all other applications invokes zooming  in PixInsight. I have repeatedly scoured the preferences for a way to adjust this, but have not succeeded. Is there a way?

Also, I notice that if I hold down the space bar I can scroll, but if the image is zoomed in far it will not scroll enough. My natural inclination is to release the space bar, move the cursor to the opposite corner of the image then to invoke the same action to scroll further. But instead of adding to the amount already scrolled, it snaps back to the center. Again, is there a solution?

Thanks,
John

I'm on OSX too.

With the space bar you can pan the image.  You press the space bar and hold it, then then just move the mouse cursor (without scrolling gesture, just moving the cursor). If you want to pan more, yes you can release the space bar, move the cursor and press&hold the space bar again to continue farther.

Yes sometimes there's a glitch and it center the image for some reason. It seems to happen when I'm still touching my trackpad to move the cursor while I'm about to press the space bar. The solution I found is to remove my finger from the trackpad before pressing and hold the space bar.
