Mike,
All depends on the binning. If you shot a Lum series, you already have all the lum data from the LRGB set, assuming you shot the RGB binned 2x2. In you shot the RGB binned 1x1, then you probably want to combine them before decon by either extracting the Lum or building a synthetic luminance frame. Its a bit of a tougher call for narrowband if you shot that 2x2. If 1x1, by all means combine first, but it may still be worth it even if they were shot 2x2, though it could impact detail a bit.
To build a synlum, simply use the default settings on ImageIntegration (make sure its set to no rejection), add in all the stacks you want to use, and set your lum frame as the reference frame. In fact, I mostly shoot without a luminance stack, using 1x1 binned RGB stacks to build my lum using this technique. I have a workbook that I share freely that sets this all out in much greater detail. If you are interested, just drop me a line at jkmorse57@gmail.com and I will be happy to send it along.
Best,
Jim
