Project loads successfully, but nothing on screen
« on: 2016 September 15 10:29:59 »
PI 1.8.3
I saved an image I was working on as a project, and the process console indicated a successful save.  Later I went to load the project, process console indicated it loaded successfully, but nothing came up on screen.  Just the blank PI screen.  I've saved projects before and this has never happened.  Any ideas would be welcome.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi,

Maybe the content is in a different workspace?

Best regards,
Vicent.

either that, or instead of saying "save all workspaces" you selected a workspace that had nothing in it?

Thanks for the ideas.  I thought maybe it was time to upgrade to 1.8.4, so I did that.  For some reason my computer (PC Win 7/64) didn't like that at all, as no matter what I did in PI 1.8.4 I got a big scary memory conflict error.  So, I reinstalled 1.8.3 and that cured my original problem.  I can now save and load projects.

I was thinking the same thing rob. Richard if you haven't seen this posting it is a good place to start. http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=9190

You can also from the forum home page just do a search on dell and you will find a lot of discussions. I don't know if your computer has a touch screen but there have been some very odd issues that seem to be related to touchscreens.
