Processing order
« on: 2016 September 14 09:48:06 »
I have been doing these steps in this order (DSLR camera):

calibrate lights
cosmetic correction
debayer
subframe selector

But should I debayer before cosmetic correction?

Thanks!

that's the correct order, CC should be done on the raw sensor data.

Yep but be sure to tick the CFA tick box in Cosmetic Correction. Not doing so leads to some pretty funky results when you then de-bayer them (speaking from experience!)

Thanks guys.  Yes, I have a line in my cribsheet to check CFA there.

Just got Warren Keller's book -- reading every word.  Exactly what a newbie needs!
