Title: Script Editor allows save as PixelMath File
Post by: oldwexi on 2016 June 27 01:33:33
Script Editor allows the save of the entered lines as PixelMath File type  *.pmath or *.pm .

Can anybody tell me what is the purpose of this file type?
Can i use a saved *.pmath file as macro in a pixelMath expression?
I can imagine for more complex pixelMath expressions it could be of help
especially if there is a syntax check possible.

Thanks for advice in advance.

The PixelMath tool will undergo significant updates, hopefully within this year. One of them will be the possibility to save/load expressions to/from disk files. The .pmath/.pm format is available in Script Editor because I planned this feature long time ago. However, other priorities have prevented me from implementing it...

Thank You Juan for the clarification!°
I hope the extensions for PixelMath will make it this year.
Thanks for all the excellent tools you provide.
