Title: Relative Path for Calibration Bias/Dark/Flat and Star Alignment Reference Images
Post by: Sean on 2015 June 03 13:59:52
When moving a project between different systems, it seems as if ImageCalibration Bias, Dark, and Flat images,  and StarAlignment Reference images are saved in their processes with full path names. Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to use relative paths for these images, which makes moving projects a little more work. Would it be possible to save these with relative paths in a future release?

Thanks, Sean

I would also like to see this happen.  I just moved a project file from a network based server to a local SSD to dramatically decrease processing times.  All of my process icons for calibration, registration, and integration now need to be modified--a lot of work when its a 4 panel, 6 channel image ...

As a workaround, try opening the .xosm project and/or .xpsm icon as a text file (in the Script Editor or other text editing app). Edit the path names using search/replace. When opening the edited files you may see seal mismatch warnings, which you can ignore.

Thanks for the tip, Mike!  I'll definitely do that.  I do hope, though, that this enhancement will eventually happen...
