Dear PI friends,
Both Rogelio Bernal Andreo (RBA!) and myself will be presenting PixInsight for the 10th annual Advanced Imaging Conference (AIC) www.aicccd.com/ in October. RBA will do an advanced look at specific object-oriented tasks. I'll do an intro to the program, and an intermediate workflow.
It is with great pleasure I announce the addition of an Astro-Imaging conference to ASAE! Alan Traino has asked me to co-coordinate and host the event to be held November 14th Thursday and Friday the 15th before ASAE http://www.scienceandastronomy.com/ at the Tucson City Center Inn Suites.
Presenters include myself, Adam Block, Dr. Craig Stark, Dr. Don 'Astrodon' Goldman, Wolfgang Promper, and many, many more. I'll once again present PixInsight as above. We hope to have RBA in 2014!
Registration opens soon, so please standby. We hope you can join us at one or both of these events!

your first talk is listed as "ABC's of Image Processing- part 1" and the 2nd "The ABC's of Image Processing - part 2: Introduction to PixInsight". sounds backwards to what you described above...

Not at all. The descriptions, which I believe you're pulling from AIC's site are still somewhat generic. One of my classes will indeed be imaging 101, and not PI related. The other talk will be PI specific, and as I said introductory-intermediate. RBA will handle the more expert level. Thank you!

oh - i thought both classes were pixinsight related. thanks for the clarification.

Hi Warern,
I was thinking of attending the Tuscon event. Is there a list of the topics being lectured on? As its $200, what would I learn from these tutorials seeing as I am already a paid up IP4P customer?
Also I'm currently in the US for only 2 months and I don't have a cheque book or a bank account in the US. Is there another way to register?
Thanks Tom
