Hello everybody,
I had my first try at PixInsight tonight, just fiddling around with an image I recently took of NGC346 with my 10" newtonian and LX modified ToUCam.
Here is the image before I processed it in PixInsight: http://www.geocities.com/hwy37/ngc346-25102005.jpg
I must say I'm very impressed with the results! I was quickly able to entirely remove amp glow with DBE and extract a lot more of the nebula by adjusting the curves.

I worked on an image which I had previously enhanced in Photoshop, so I would propably get even better results by starting wth the raw stacked image.
I certainly look forward to experimenting a lot more with this wonderful software - a big thank you to you guys for making such a kick ass program :D
