I am interested in astrophotography and I am just starting out.
I would like to get a digital camera and would like some suggestions.

Hi Brad,

Welcome to the wonderful (and crazy :D) world of astrophotography.

Personally I like CANON DSLRs the best. However, neither me nor this forum can be the best resources to inform you appropriately on this and many other topics of practical astrophotography.

I suggest you to take a look at some excellent specialized websites, mailing lists and online forums. As a beginning, visit CloudyNights:

On these sites you'll find a crowd of great people that will be glad to help you start you astro-imaging career.

I hope to someday require the use of PixInsigth software.
