Title: Fits files
Post by: Jules on 2011 May 30 12:53:55
Hi

When I work on a colour image in PI it is colour, I bring the same image in to PS CS4 as a fits and it is greyscale? I am not quite sure what is going on?

Regards

Julian

Jules,

PS does not handle fits files properly unless you have a plugin like FitsLiberator installed. If you don't have such a plugin that may be your problem. Try saving the file in PI as a 16 bit tif and open that in PS.

Hi Steve

I use fits liberator, which brings the file in. I can see three channels but they are all greyscale, even converting to RGB they are still greyscale?
