Title: how to use preview replace script
Post by: gvanhau on 2010 July 14 12:14:51
Hello

I've been using PI1.6 for a couple of moths.
I'm still in the learnign curve.

Yesterday I found the replace preview scrip, buy I never got the results I espected: replace the contents of a preview area of one image with the contens of another image or preview.

Can some one explain to me how it works?
I normaly use TIFF images.

Regards
Geert

Hi:

It just copy a preview or several previews of an image into another one in the same position.

Best. Silvercup.

Hello Silvercup
I tried to do this, but the preview was never copied on to the target image.
Can you tell me if there is a pre requisite for doing this? can it be don with color images?
Could there be a bug in the script?
I use 64 bit windows 7.

regards
Geert

Hmm, I don't even see it list previews in the selection boxes.

Ok, I´m already discovered how it works:

Target image mus be same size as source image.
You work on a preview area in source image, then replace the area of the preview in the target image.

It could be interesting if there was no restriction of size.
