Hi,
I want to apply the same DBE to one image twice. I therefore set Target Image Correction: Subtract, Discard Background Model, Replace Target image. Press green check mark once, works fine. Press checkmark a second time: Error message "Couldn't execute instance: Reason: This Dynamic Background Extraction Instance has less then 3 background samples defined".
Workaround: Store DBE instance, close it, reopen it with the stored instance.

Could it be that after the first DBE a bunch of samples are deemed 'illegal'? Look for red samples.

Can't reproduce it here. Maybe the image characteristics and the background being extracted make a difference.
BTW my CPU is now reported to be at -112ºC ::)

David,

That's way too hot. Most processors have a maximum temperature between 65-70C. You have an air circulation problem, most likely a bad fan. You will burn up your processor if you don't get it fixed. Check out this link:

You seem to have missed the minus sign before the figure ;). It's for sure a reporting problem, originating at the kernel:
$ cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/TZ00/temperature
temperature: -112 C

Hi
If you can manage -112 some camera manufacturers might want a word with you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

David,
Yes, I did miss the minus sign. -112C is much better than +112C; however, what if your processor is really at 112C and the minus sign is bogus. Do you have a way to measure the temperature with different software just to be sure?
