Title: Problem Checking for Updates

I keep receiving the following error message when checking for updates:

https://pixinsight.com/update/1.8.8-2/: Parsing repository update information: Parsing platform element (line=49 offset=3): Invalid platform 'version' attribute value '1.8.8-1:1.8.8-2'
https://pixinsight.com/update-doc/1.8.8-2/: Parsing repository update information: Parsing platform element (line=73 offset=3): Invalid platform 'version' attribute value '1.8.8-1:1.8.8-2'

Any ideas what to do?

This happens because you have executed version 1.8.8 after running version 1.8.8-2. This problem should not happen under normal working conditions.

Do the following to solve this issue:

- From the main menu, select Resources > Updates > Manage Repositories.

- On the Manage Update Repositories dialog, click Default, then OK.

This will reset update repositories to the default ones required by the running PixInsight application.
