Title: Synthetic Flat for DSLR ?
Post by: -Amenophis- on 2019 November 30 09:46:46
Hello everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a FLATSynthetic with PIXINSIGHT for my images made with a CANON6D.

The problem of the CANON6D is that the mirror chamber is too small creating a consequent vignetting.

I tried different exposure times to create FLAT but without success to correct this.
So is it possible to create a synthetic Flat to correct this?
Do you have a tutorial for DSLR ?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Dear,

I m sure you will be able to correct this edge vignetting by using DynamicBackgroundExtraction or AutomaticBackgroudExtraction, no need for synthetic flat.

Kind regards,
Alex

Thank you very much for your answer.

I tried with DBE and ABE but the results were not up to the dust is not eliminated.

I will retry DBE / ABE anyway during a new pre-batch test.

Thank you
