I am getting a dialog box that simply says "Unknown Exception" when attempting to use the INDIMount process. I am using an IndigoSky Raspberry PI server connected to a Celestron NexStar Evolution mount. The driver is version 2.0.0.4 of the NexStar mount driver. I can manually slew the mount without exception, and the slew to object function works occasionally, but the Create Model function under the pointing model fails every time. After it fails, I can no slew to a target. No error information is displayed in the process console and no other information other than "Unknown Exception" is shown in the pop-up dialog.
I am using PixInsight version 1.08.06.1475 on a Mac version 10.14.6 of Mojave.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.
Tim.

I am surprised that nobody has come back to you on this. Anybody using INDIMount function?

So am I! I would have thought someone from PI might want some more information or logging so that they could track it down...

Are you getting the same error with INDI?

Hi Tim,
sorry for the late delay. Actually this module was written by me in my free time and I am not able to provide such an attentive support for it as Juan does for the PI core stuff, sorry for that.
You are the second user who reports an error on the INDI mount module ;) ... I don't get notified when an error on the INDI modules are reported, and I don't scan the bug reports constantly. Of course, I am interested in any problem that was found by the user community.
I guess you are using the Pointing model functionality and the error has the same root cause as the bug reported in

I have fixed the bug in the new module version which will be released soon. If you are still interested in the Pointing model let me know, I can explain how it is used and what you can expect.

Klaus:
Thank you for your response. I would be interested in this module and in knowing the version of PI with your changes.
I appreciate your efforts!
Tim.

Hi Tim,
reported issues should be fixed with 1.8.8-4. You may have noticed that we now use the Indigo client which is more compatible with the IndigoSky server that you are using ... it is still compatible with the INDI server as well.
I am also using the nexstar mount driver with my skywatcher eq8 mount, which works without problems.
You can use the ImageSolver script to solve a new image,e.g. taken with the CCD process module. Applying the Indigo mount process on that image will center the object exactly in the middle of the image/frame.

FYI, I have just released an update with a new version of the INDIClient module, where Klaus has fixed this problem.
