Title: Previews re-render when undoing-redoing changes
Post by: Nocturnal on 2009 June 20 12:52:49

Hi,

this is something I didn't notice in earlier versions but I maybe I missed it:

- load image
- draw a few previews
- do some kind of transformation (say histogram)
- hit ctrl-Z (undo)
- hit ctrl-Y (redo)

Note that the previews are first gray and then get filled in a split second later. I thought this was due to my old machine but now my i7 machine shows it too. It's not a huge deal but it's a little distracting. Can someone please check this and let me know if they see it too? Graphics is a GTX 260 so plenty of horsepower there too.

I see this too on a dual core Linux system. Workaround: disable previews - there's a button with a little yellow star inside a document, or something like that, that is enabled by default (sorry, don't have a copy of PI handy now). Disable it, do the ^Z^Y at your pleasure and then re-enable it.

Hi Sander and David,

This bug has been fixed in the upcoming version 1.5.5. Thanks for pointing out it.
