Title: IC-410 LRGB
Post by: rdryfoos on 2017 November 22 09:26:10
My first attempt at LRGB on an emission nebula.  I usually shoot narrowband due to my skies.  But it was unusually dark this run.

TOA 130 ar F7.7, SBIG STT 8300 with Astrodon series e filters
Lum 19 20 min
R 18 10 min
G 18 10 min
B 7 10 min

Wow!  Beautiful work.  Does not look like a “first attempt at LRGB”.  I love the detail and color balance you achieved with the stars and nebulosity.  I just got a SVQ100 and G11GT mount and am working on my PI skills.  Can’t do anything about the clouds that have been her since the new scope arrived.  :(

thank you...I should say its my first real attempt.  The TOA seems to be able to handel the LP much better than the np101is for some reason.  Maybe I am just improving.  You new kit sounds great.  The clouds are my nemeses...at least when the Moon is out you can shoot Ha.  the clouds ruin everything!
