NGC 4321.... by Hubble

Decided to trawl the Hubble Legacy Archive while waiting for clear skies.

Looks great! Happy to help, and I hope that it got a bit easier to work with once you knew some of the tricks.

Fun data to work with, isn't it? Is this a bi-color combo? I recommend pushing the saturation a bit more because I think the color is in there.

If you haven't yet, be sure to check out the Antennae Galaxies -- that makes for quite a rich image.

Thanks Josh. Yes, a lot of fun data there. Excellent for practicing PI on. But a LOT to wade through before finding anything suitable for a beginner.

This is a bi-color combo, yes. There was a third file named _total. I used that as lum. Don't know if you are supposed to do so  O:)
Will try to up the saturation a bit and see what happens.

The rest of the files can be seen in the pic.

Yes, I've used the total as a luminance before with some good results.

I like it. It is bold.  ;) And besides. No one has seen this object this close for real. Maybe this is what it looks like.  O0
