Region Rho Oph & Antares
« on: 2012 May 26 21:02:40 »
Hi folks
I would like to share with all of you my new picture, the Rho Ophiuchi and Antares region. After a year of waiting for this beautiful region of dust and nebulas, finally I did it using my usual equipment U16M,  FSQ-106EDX, EM-200T2Jr and guided by FS-60CSV with QHY-5. Processed with PixInsight.
Hopes you  like it.

I like it a lot. Nice colours, sharp round stars all the way to the corners.  The only little fault I could find were suggestions of some noise in the fainter regions.

Iñaki!
Your image in my opinion is a masterpiece!! I like it very much.
Excellent colors, sharp and soft in the right places and the total
impression for me is very natural. And sooo many details all over the image - beautiful!
Congratulations.

Aloha

Iñaki, this is a spectacular rendition of this beautiful area of the sky!

Being picky, the only thing that made me scratch my head alittle bit, is the darker backgroud around M4.

cheers
Ignacio

Wonderful. I love this area and have imaged it 3 times now. Your image answers some questions I had about the detail in this region. The FSQ-106 is such a nice scope.
