On Line PixInsight Presentation?
« on: 2012 May 18 14:13:25 »
I wonder if it might be possible for the right person to do an on line one or two hour presentation on using PixInsight. This could easily be done with GoToMeeting or something similar. It's expensive and difficult for many people to travel long distances and this would be a great way for a lot of people to learn more about PixInsight without having to travel. I for one would be more than happy to make a donation to help support this if others would.

Any ideas?

Albert

Harry do you have and A to Z video that gives you all the main steps you need to process images? I've looked at a lot of your videos and they are a tremendous help. But I still have issues deciding what is the best processing order, etc. Also, I've tried deconvolution many times on linear images and I just can't get it to work without trashing my image. The only way it seems to work for me is on a non linear image with a mask.

I was thinking about a live on line demo of sorts but I guess a video would cover it. It may be too difficult to get enough people on line to make it worthwhile.
