Hi,

Just one suggestion for this module. For me it would have much more sense to select the bad pixels by sigmas of the noise distribution than a threshold level. Could this be possible?

Regards,
Vicent.

Yes, it's possible. However, the sigma for the selected level is shown in the GUI ;)
You can use Level or QTY slider to set the sigma.
But, if you really need separate NumericEdit/slider for sigma, I will add it.

Ouch! Sorry, I was somewhat sleepy last night! :-P

Anyway, I think it's more logical to have the sigma slider. I would prefer to see the gray level that corresponds to the desired sigma and not the sigma that corresponds to the desired gray level.

Thanks!
Vicent.

v1.2.0.6 +Slider for select the bad pixels by sigmas of the noise distribution in MasterDark :)

Hi,

I just wanted to test this script after watching Harry's latest video about the Calibration Script. Even though I downloaded the script as described here and have the latest version of PI installed (1.7.6.703) the mask looks much different than in Harry's video. I attach a screenshot below.
Btw. I have an x64 Windows machine. Any idea what can be wrong?
Thanks!

This is topic about CosmeticCorrection Module.
CosmeticCorrection Script is other story.

Module is more powerful version of the script.

Thanks! I was mistaken by the icon which is normally used for scripts and was already wondering how such complex things could be done in a script :)

Can someone say how to install the module, as it is different from the script?
Thanks.

The module distributed via standard update system.
